By accessing or using the LION Award Platform (“Platform”) at lion.hkuer.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Access is granted by Youth Empowerment Academy (“YEA”) to registered participants only.
Accounts are created exclusively by coordinators. You may not share your login credentials with anyone else. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Notify your coordinator immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — tracking your daily activities and participating in the Spotlight Awards — and to:
You retain any intellectual property rights you hold in images you upload. By uploading content, you grant YEA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store that content for the purposes of operating the Platform and reviewing results. Coordinators may remove any submission that violates these Terms or platform rules.
Do not upload images of other people without their consent.
Points, ranks (CUB, ROAR, and PRIDE LEADER), and Spotlight Award winners are determined by the Platform's rules as configured by YEA. YEA reserves the right to adjust, correct, or override any point total or award result at its discretion in the event of errors or rule violations. All decisions by coordinators are final.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim for high availability during the week but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. YEA is not liable for any losses arising from downtime or technical issues.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
YEA may suspend or terminate your account at any time for a breach of these Terms or platform rules, or when your participation ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
Organizations (not individual students) may use the Platform under a Free, Standard, or Enterprise plan. Free includes published usage limits. Standard is an annual license billed to the organization and renews until canceled. Enterprise is quoted separately. Coordinators manage billing from Admin. Canceling Standard returns the organization to Free; existing records are not deleted, but new students, cohorts, or activities may be blocked until usage is within Free limits.
YEA may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or your coordinator. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
